Round table “Inclusion of vulnerable groups: impact, challenges, and pathways to expanding their rights and opportunities through learning”
26 September in Bishkek, a round table on the topic “Inclusion of vulnerable groups: impact, challenges, and pathways to expanding their rights and opportunities through learning” was held, organized by the Association for Education Development in Kyrgyzstan together with the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic.

With welcoming remarks, Ms. Aliza Soltonbekova, First Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, emphasized the importance of expanding access for women, youth, migrants, and persons with disabilities to quality education and employment.

The discussion was moderated by Ms. Nargiza Turkebekova, Head of the Department for Employment Facilitation Decisions at the Ministry. Being well acquainted with the research issues and having supported its preparation, she ensured an effective discussion that enabled participants to formulate concrete recommendations.

The round table brought together representatives of government agencies, regional employment services, employers, international and national expert organizations, as well as civil society. Thanks to the open discussion format, it was possible to gather diverse perspectives and develop practical recommendations.




As a result of the meeting, participants highlighted the need to strengthen career counseling, develop practice-oriented courses, and create conditions for the labor integration of vulnerable groups of citizens.
