Successfully Completed: Series of Regional Adult Education Trainings

From May 15 to 22, 2026, a series of training sessions dedicated to the integration of Artificial Intelligence and new strategies in the field of Lifelong Learning was successfully held across key regions of Kyrgyzstan.
The events took place in the cities of Naryn, Talas, Bishkek, as well as in the village of Chok-Tal in the Issyk-Kul region. The main theme of the meetings was “Strategic Development of Adult Education in the Context of Global Challenges and AI Technologies.”
The initiative brought together members of Local Councils of Social Partners (LCSPs), representatives of civil society, and local government authorities on one platform.
During the intensive sessions, participants focused on practical solutions aimed at the economic and social development of the regions. The following key outcomes were achieved within the framework of the program:
- Local financing mechanisms: Clear mechanisms were developed for allocating budget lines from local budgets to support adult education programs.
- Addressing unemployment: Experts and participants thoroughly discussed the role of non-formal education in reducing unemployment and stimulating regional labor markets.
- Digitalization and AI: Particular interest was generated by the sessions on Artificial Intelligence tools. Participants learned how to use AI for data analysis, project proposal development, and the creation of professional presentations.
- Lifelong Learning strategy: Joint step-by-step action plans were developed to promote the concept of lifelong learning.
At the conclusion of the trainings, participants adopted official resolutions on joint actions. These documents will serve as a foundation for long-term cooperation in the field of non-formal education at both local and national levels.
The organizers express their sincere gratitude to all speakers, regional partners, and active participants for their valuable contribution to strengthening educational potential and supporting the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The trainings were conducted within the framework of the project “INCLUSION: Dialogues for Inclusive Education and Employment Practices”, which creates new opportunities for persons with disabilities and vulnerable groups in Kyrgyzstan.
The project is implemented by DVV International in Kyrgyzstan with the support of the European Union (EU) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), in cooperation with the Association for the Development of Education in Kyrgyzstan (ADE) and with the active participation of the Kyrgyz Association for the Adult Education (KAAE) and the National Network “Zhanyryk”.
