Public association “Kyrgyz Geographical Society” is a non-profit organization created on a voluntary basis by individuals who have united to satisfy the spiritual, scientific, cultural and other non-profit interests of their members and society, and conducts its activities in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. “Umut shamy” Public Association was established in 2013. Most of the initiative people who raised the idea of creating an organization parents of children at the Nur Children’s Educational center for children with disabilities in Batken. They are key members of a Public association and a collegial decision-making body. Currently, the public association has 11 members.

Public Charitable Foundation “Zhanyrtuu” was organized by a group of parents in 2005, aimed at teaching work skills to children with disabilities, their socialization, and is focused on protecting the rights of people with mental and psycho-social disabilities.

“Zhanyrtuu” is an inclusive space where everyone feels safe and important. Here, people with mental and physical disabilities, together with professionals and volunteers, engage in creativity, sports, learn crafts and socialize. The Foundation supports an Inclusive Theater, the Janyrtuu_offer Social Workshop and the Master Pattern Design Center.
