Аn art installation “Wall of Respect” within international campaign “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence”
As part of the campaign, an art installation, “Wall of Respect,” was held at Pl №4 on December 9. The event was organized by the Proftech.Kg public organization with the support of AED.
Fifteen students from three educational institutions ( Medical and Pharmaceutical College, PL №94, and the KTZhL) united to express their thoughts on safety, respect, and mutual understanding through art. As part of the joint “Wall of Respect,” participants created drawings and posters reflecting their understanding of digital violence and the importance of active citizenship. The works were combined into a single visual gallery demonstrating the scale of the problem.

During the discussions, participants noted that the topic of digital violence turned out to be broader than expected: it includes not only insults and online bullying, but also cyberstalking, non-consensual photo sharing, fake accounts, hacking, and online manipulation. It was emphasized that the digital environment is an integral part of young people’s daily lives, making knowledge of risks and protection mechanisms particularly relevant.

Following the event, 75% of participants expressed satisfaction with participating in such formats and noted their importance for raising awareness and shaping behavior in the digital environment.
